The general nurses work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. They assess patient’s general health status; assume and maintain patient and his environment hygiene and infection control; monitor records and report vital signs, symptoms and changes in patient’s conditions and register in patient’s medical file and sign that records with his/her full name; prepare a nursing care plan according to the needs and area of work with the assistance of other health care and professionals and administer and document medication as prescribed. The hospital has 38 general nurses.
