This Saturday, January 27, 2024, Ambassador of Türkiye to Rwanda, H.E Aslan Alper Yüksel, and a delegation from the Embassy and Yunus Emre Institute, joined Ndera Neuropsychiatric Teaching Hospital Staff, and representatives from Gasabo District, Ndera Sector and security organs, in Umuganda activity of planting trees in different areas of the hospital.
H.E Yüksel appreciated being part of today’s Umuganda as an important activity in Rwanda and contributing to the environment. The Ambassador, who also had a brief tour of the hospital services, noted that there is an existing partnership of Government of Rwanda and Government of Türkiye in different areas, and said that there is a possibility that this will be a step toward a collaboration in the fields of psychiatry and neurology. “It was our part today to carry out our responsibility to plant trees, with other Turkish people here in Kigali, it was also an occasion to visit an important health facility, perhaps in the future we will also be cooperating in this area," he said.
