25 Patients Reunited With Families
Ndera Neuropsychiatric Teaching Hospital’s rehabilitation program has made significant progress in reintegrating previously 'unknown' patients throughout the year 2024-2025. Through joint efforts with the Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration and the National Identification Authority (NIDA), biometric technology was applied to identify unknown patients. As a result, a total of 25 individuals, including six foreign nationals, were successfully discharged and reunited with their families.
There are still other patients, including some foreign nationals, who are in the process of being identified. The rehabilitation and reintegration team continues to make every effort to trace their families and support each patient's safe return home.
